Students can choose from a variety of campus activities including nearly 200 student organizations; four national sororities and five national fraternities; fine arts, music, and theatrical events; and intramural and club sports. There are nine residence halls on campus as well as eight campus apartment complexes and an Affinity Housing complex.
The ONU Polar Bears compete successfully at the NCAA Division III level in 23 varsity sports as part of the highly respected Ohio Athletic Conference. ONU has 12 men’s teams (baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track, and wrestling) and 11 women’s teams (basketball, cross-country, softball, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track, and volleyball).
Ohio Northern’s campus is situated on 342 beautiful acres in the village of Ada (population 5,500). Located in northwestern Ohio, ONU is easily accessible by major highways and conveniently located near major cities such as Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, and Fort Wayne, Ind.
